Replying to Pre-flight panicking

I am so excited to go on vacation with my lovely family but I can't sleep because I am anticipating the flight too much. I have never been on an airplane and am extremely nervous.

Linda attempted to caress me this evening and told me everything was going to be OK but I am just extremely ancy and nervous. What if the airplane crashes and we never make it to our destination? What if a terror suspect attacks the Pilot? So many reasonable devestating variables are prevelent on commuter aircraft. I'm so nervous, I am second guessing getting on the plane...
