Mine would have to be when i went out west for the first time and the first day i was there i skied three feet of powder and the way i felt that day was beyond anything i could ever explain....it was just me and my bro tearin up the mountain, constant fresh tracks and huge face shots...it was beyond epic and just because it was my first really deep powderathon i dont think a day liek that will ever be matched.
Now lets here ur stories...i know everyones got one and i sure want to hear about them along with a bunch of other fellas..so lets hear them.

best day was probably ripping a bluebird pow day with about a foot of new snow with my 3 best friends on a monday so there was NOONE there. i found a pillow line that hadn't been touched almost all year. by the end of the day we were so tired because we went non stop from 8 30 til 3 30 but it was worth it.

I am quite young. 14 i believe. me and some park crew guys had been working on this massive 60 footer for days. it was my baby. as the time to hit it neared i thought of what to do. we put the finishing touches on the jump and started hiking. I respect the older guys because they are way better than me. so the quinie pig goes. he rips and clears it. straight air of course, but still sick. next it was franzi. this guy is my idol. he does a straight air also. i volunteer to go next. the pressure is mounting. my 4'11 frame rips to the 60 foot jump. as i hit the lip a roar of screams erupts, and i float a 180. the first to spin. everyone was cheering and i ski over to franzi. "that was sick little man, sick" we hike up to hit it again. you dont know how happy i felt that day.

for me it would have to be when I dropped a 24' cliff with my good buddy Quinn, when Alyeska opened the top of the mountain and I skied my first big mountain powder, when I stuck my first S-rail and unatty 540 leading saftey first try, and when I stuck my first 180 off a 10' cliff into 2' deep powder on my Made'Ns....aaaah man I wish winter didn't end up hereerererererere. now i am sad due to this constant daydreaming of orgasmic skiing during the cold season.

yes I do live in alaska, but the only places where winter doesn't end are on the very northen section where theres no mountains and just one big ice cap desert, void of anything but nates and crappy cottages.

Two days actually come to mind: The first is the first day I landed a backflip. It was 99, and I had just gotten the "new" twintip skis for christmas ('00 yellow 1080s). I went out with my brother and, using a tractor, we built a HUGE gap in a corn field. The jump was like 10 ft high and the gap was like 40 ft, it seemed a very very long ways. I had my dad pull me on the snowmobile and landed it my second try, the adrenaline coursing through my body made me feel invincible and I made my dad pull me the rest of the afternoon until I was too sore to continue. I landed probably 15 backflips, and I never fell on one after the first try.
Second was 2 years ago down in Portillo, Chile. I was studying abroad there and decided to take a trip by myself to this place to ski. Had to sleep in the Santiago airport over night on a bench and then catch a shuttle there. I stayed the shitty hostel with a bunch of british wasters and an argentinian. I awoke the second day after it snowed for 24 hrs straight. Since they only allow 450 people there per week, there are never any lines and the run stayed untracked for 3 days. Me and this argentinian skied from sunup to sun down, face shot 3 foot powder all day, exploring and finding new places to ski, there were no boundaries. Go this place's website and you will be amazed, the most beautiful place I have ever been to. We built a jump and sessioned that for a while, not big but on a hip so still fun. Then we hit the bar and when I woke up the next day, I repeated again.

prolly every day i poach pow back east
that shitty north double chair was shut down day after it snowed..poached it all day...twas amazing
the trees to the left of lower bobbys (WV) that weren't really a trail, but you could navigate through and find cliffs if you were slow and knew what you were doing
honestly thats proly my favorite thing, finding pow that people haven't skiied back east due to closure of trail/abundance of trees/lack of lit trail and then just poaching it...you ski pow, you get the thrilll of poaching and you know that its YOUR run, no one else is going to ski it cause theyre pussies
