Snowboard Videos

Eventhough its not skiing, snowboard videos are pretty damn cool. Plus, they've got better editing than half the ski videos out there. Just go download them on kazaa.

yeah i was watching stand and deliver a little bit ago, theyre awesome. so much more creativity and better shots than ski movies. that goes for magazines, too, i think transworld is the best, but most of them blow away ski mags when it comes to content and creativity, theyre sick. Happy Dayz prolly came close to being as good as a few snowboarding movies ive seen, alot of original stuff in it, it was very good

btw the Front Line sucked in my opinion..it was alot of the same stuff over and over again, and no really good segment sticks out in my head, except candide's huge launches over the hip at parkasaraus and the crevasse jumping stuff, that was sick.

I have to agree, snowboarding movies are sick, i have a smith DVD of snowboarding, and its sweet, but i think that ski and boarding videos are begginging to be equal with shots and stuff, and frontline i thought was decent.

ski movies are just full of repeated shots of the exact same 12 hits over and over with different skiers...snowboard videos rarely show the same jump twice, plus they are a lot more creative...its not just a buch of park footage and some bc...its a mix of anything and everything.

i totally agree with alpentalik.. it gets kind of lame when you see the same hit or rail in like everyone's part.. snowboard vids rock and we could probably learn a lot of sweet shit through them

ski videos do have a long way to come compared to a lot of snowboard videos, but i do like how some of the films are trying to be original and do stuff never done before. Kris Ostness says 'if you are going to make a ski film, pretend that you have never seen a ski or snowboard film in your life, and start from there.'
Has anyone seen the skate/snoboard movie Destroyer, it is pretty rad, the best part is when they rally that old camaro and jump it off the cliff.

phrosty quit being a bitch and accept that snowboarding is just as tight, if not tighter than skiing...i watched pulse the other day, and vivid...there's some sick cinematography and amazing vision in board movies and skiing wouldnt be anywhere...dash longe said in freeze he wanted to be smoother like in snowboard flicks...good one tho
