take it from someone whos done to much of both, excessive alchool abuse can fuck with your mind just as much, plus it gives you a gut if your over 18 and drink enough, just do both in moderation

smoking weed is so much better than drinking.

i'm not even old enough to legally drink yet and i already have liver sorosis, which in large party i owe to drinking.

and as for whoever mentioned amphetamines.... that is fucking terrible, amphetamines are some of the worst drugs you can do. and they are disgusting and make you fucking crazy.

yea man i quit in the summer and it makes me a lot happier. i don't even know if im gonna start up smoking again. it gets old man. besides now i can take a rip and i'll get blasted for hours, its only 2 weeks into me quiting too.

i am currently on hiatus from smoking, and it's been pretty sweet. it's been about a month, and i haven't really thought about it. i have, however, started drinking about 5 times as much as i used to. but i'm doing really well in school, and that's what counts.

yeah i haven't been smoking because of drug tests, but it's nice.... i still get really bad headaches when i don't smoke but the clarity is nice. and i don't pig out all the time. and i have so much more energy. but if you're substituting weed, you might as well continue smoking it because everything else is worse than it.

The money is kinda a big deal, but kinda not. I'm making like 800 a week right now so it's not bad, but when i start going back to college it's going to suck. Plus now that i'm not really looking just to fuck around alot of the girls that i'm ready to date are not that into smoking. Plus when i do get smoked up or whatever i will getting fricken blazed.

my homie stopped smoking like a year ago, and he drinks a lot, but hes doing fine, except he smokes menthols and they have murdered his lungs

im glad i never have any urges to try drugs and such, because if i did i couldnt stop. its wierd though because all of my friends are hardcore stoners hardcore drinkers or both. my brother smokes so much weed that i know more about it than some people who do smoke.

i think im quitting for the summer, i smoked every day this semester pretty much cause school was so boring, and i really am craving a bowl now (havent smoked in 2 days) i don't htink its really addicitng cause i can resist it, but it just would really hit the spot (plus its easy cause my summer friends dont smoke)

totally agree with whoever said you fill up your day with productive stuff instead of sitting their stoned...i want to learn to surf or something this summer instead

I knew a guy at university who smoked ALL the time... and not little bits, a lot. He ended up going to waterloo to do his masters in mathematics and had numerous records for swimming - some canadian records. and no it's not some shitty university either. Some people can handle it, some can't... just don't get into the cycle like you have to smoke or that you won't be cool if you don't. that's lame.

I used to be a party stoner.... and we had parties every second night....
But then I went overseas for a year, didnt do it once, and havent touched the stuff since i've been back. Thats mostly because all my stoner friends have moved away, and now we just drink heaps, but its also because i'm lazy.
I actually kind of feel like a joint right now....
Man, the bottom line is, dont ask us. Figure it out for yourself.

If you’re going to lay off heavy smoking, why would you replace it with heavy drinking? There is no logic in that. Why don’t you just keep your distance from both. You’ll be much healthier (and probably happier) if you avoid them except on rare occasions.
