Replying to AXIS Magazine... 450 Flatspins?
I just got the second issue of AXIS, and not to be critical of all the great stuff they put in it this year, but i saw some things (well, three to be more exact) that kinda confused me.
On pages 42/43, they have a sequence at the bottom that must be labled wrong. The sequence shows a 270 off, not a 450. Whats with the 450?
And on the next page they have another 450, this time off a kicker. The caption reads Flatspin 450. I think that either there was some new way of naming rotations when they are off-axis, or that someone made a mistake. Or possibly they guy did land it 450, and then most likely broke something.
Yet, the captions on Boyd's Rodeo on page 48 again reads 450.... strike three: Is everyone going to call off axis 3's 450's from now on??
*sighs* I wish announcers would get trick names right too... god dammit, any spin over the guys head is a D-spin, not a measly Cork.
Other than that, if you havent gotten the AXIS issue, definetly get it. Despite all the criticism, they do have great pictures, I'll admit that easily.
