Recommend Skis for a fatty.

I was just wondering which skis guys around 240lbs recommend. I am looking for a twin for bowls and park skiing, like pistols or PR's in 180 length, but I can't find any good info on stiffness. Anyone here who is big and heavy have a favorite?

180 might be a little short unless it;s a crazy stiff ski

my suggestions:

186cm Liberty Reaper
185cm Armada Arv
189 Seth Pistol/Madn'AK
185cm Volkl Karma
180-187 4Frnt MSP
182-188 Scratch BC

I would look into those, for a little backcountry and park any of those could work.

I think 187 msps would be perfect for you, they're stiff, so they wouldn't wash out all the time because of your weight.

Maden's and seth's are pretty soft, so that might be a problem.

Definitely don't listen to the recommendations for Made'ns or even Pistols. I weigh 185 and both those skis wash out on me fairly often. Possibly the new Vicious as is it stiffer in the tail.

Your best bets are Karmas (in 185), maybe even Gotamas (if you want a fatter stick that rips), 187 MSP (even though I wouldn't choose it), and definitely consider the Line Prophet 80 or Prophet 100 (I would suggest the 100, but if that's too fat for you, try the 80).

Depending on your height, I would go a little longer than 180's. Check out the ANT from Armada if you want a really solid, stiff ski.

gotamas are a good choice, and you might want to check the rossi b3's, which are a sweet all mtn stick, but not full twin

If you are not into skiing switch or have any need for a twip tip, I would recommend the B3 or the new B4 squad, or what ever it's called. Both are very stiff in the tail, which is good for a bigger rider like yourself.
