no i mean REAL TERRAIN. any mountain with a good budget can spend a lot of money and have a sick park. but sick natural terrain is hard to come across.

there is no better or worse skiing. just different. a friend of mine from school who i'm actually rooming with next year is from colorado, and i spent the season skiing with him at jay peak. the kid rips, but at the beginning of the year the tight trees and icy snow threw him a little off his game. he learned quick though, and is stoked to have a few east coasters come out and learn the tools of the trade for big mountain riding. my point is that you can be a sick skier on eitherr coast.

we're all skiing, regardless of where we happen to be living at the moment. i am from PA, i ski on a 100 vertical foot pile of ice. but i'm out there wokring to get better, and trying to make things better for other people who are into this whole freeride scene. yeah, i got out to colorado to ski over spring break, i skiied everything the mountains had to offer, from bumps to groomers to park and stuff i had to hike to get to without too much trouble, and i think that is because i am used to skiing on solid ice back at home. the mountains are awesome and the people were all super friendly, but there is something about the east coast, personality-wise, that the west coast doesnt have.
