Replying to Painting boards, skis, ect

i was wondering what everyone uses to paint there shit with because i wanted to paint an old wakeboard, i could just throw on some spray paint but it would start coming off in the water and look pretty shitty, i want something that will look good, shiny and last, any suggestions?
