you kids are so hung up on shit, listen to what sounds good to you. If every band made all of their albums the same then they probably wouldn't get to far. Look at tbs for expamle, their newest cd sucked alot because every song was the same as the first one.

And if you really think dookie was a better punk album, I'm not sure why you wouldn't use insomniac for your argument, that album was a lot faster and more "punk" than all of the others.

many people believe that green day 'sold out' when they recorded Dookie on Warner Bros. rather than with Lookout records... so to hear people saying how dookie is the non sold out version of green day is ammusing to say the least. But what does it really matter? Just listen to what you want, and let these musicians make a living.
