Ski area between SLC and missoula montana?

so i have a friend who is going to missoula in the fall for school and i will be going to the u of u. what ski area are about half way between the two?

prob somewhere in idaho would be half way but the highways don't exactly go straight to montana from utah. i would say do jackson area or go to brundage area, maybe some wyoming skiing. no clue the resorts there tho. half way is a complicated matter here.

or there is a straight line haha, looks like sun vally is half way about but i wouldn't, i would make the trip to jackson hole if i where you, there are a couple of little resorts you can go to in the area that are great.
