What exactly do I need to have WMP or Quicktime be compatable with MP4? I tried looking online, but it didn't help, and microsoft.com doesn't have a patch. Is there another player I need altogether, or just a patch. Thanks

so...I need a patch for quicktime? the version I have now is the latest and it still isn't working. It also says that there are no available updates.

or just use quicktime. if it tries to open it with media player rightclick on it and go open with->quicktime
