I think it would be cool if everyone threw in their vote. i dont necissarily mean the trick being thrown but more like the light and edtiting. my vote is pep's darkside corked 3 safety over the crevasse gap. d-d-d-damn dude! check the light in that tho, its like the fore, mid, and most of the background is in kinda duskish dark blue light but then there are about like 5 peaks in the background that still have the alpenglow going on, shit... gorgeous.

i think i know what you're talking about, that was a pretty sick shot.
I would say that the sickest trick i saw what candide's massive corked 5 in happy dayz, that was amazing. or his dspin 9 on the step up jump at the end of his seg.

i know it wasn't this year, but the pow shot from switzerland with gordy pfeifer and Swany was dope, and the music matched up perfectly.

There are alot of shots in Afterbang (Robot Food) that are simply amazing, shot soooooo well. That whole video is soo good, it's like it's addictive, you'll just be sitting around and then you have to go watch it, and then once you start watching it you cant stop and just watch it for like 3 hours.
For skiing though I would have to say the one cork 7 by mike douglas in ski movie 3, red jacket black pants, big mountain line right before it and the red whistler rainbow rail right after it, that is a great shot.

Oh yeah! that step up to the top of the peak is mad! i really like the way candide's segs have looked in Royalty and Happy Dayz, i think its the way Rastafaride is shot. how do they do that?

my fave considering shot quality, trick and everything would have to be Tanner's D-spin 1080 in happy dayz. It was the smoothest fuckin trick ever, made me feel funny inside. Plus there were mountain ranges in the background but the thing is that they weren't at the top of the screen they were more in the middle so it really made you feel like you were high altitude, kinda weird seeing as you're used to seeing the mountains high above you in a park type shot. There's also a jet goin across the perfect blue sky. fuckin gold.

saucer boy owns my soul, he weill be the king eternal forever.
That pep photo shoot over the crevas gets my vote, maybe a picture up throught the crevasse as he hits the rail, that is pretty sweet

My Favourite shot of the year is Mike Dougals' big mountain terrain park at the beginnign of his segment. He turns a line into a terain park and its so sick, its an amazing way to see the sport going

I've only seen most of the movies out once, I don't own any so I can't remember really good shots. But one that stands out is Candide's off axis 5 over the dinosaur at parkasaurous. He can see his landing the whole time, it's so smooth and perfect.
Or McMurray doing gainers off houses, cause c'mon, it's sweet.
Cheers

::shakes his head:: 'NOT NECISSARILY THE TRICK BEING THROWN' !!!! the backcountry slopestyle run was horrible quality and it really sucks that they didn't gamble on putting that on to real film.

For jibbing, Candide in Happy Dayz when he hits what is supposed to be a hip in whistler and throws that siiick corked 5. For big Mountain it would be in Ski Movie 3 when Seth hucks that huge backflip for his opening shot.
