Replying to I broke my PE

So, I got my PE's in the beginning of the season and now its broken. At the back, where the last two screws were mounted, that's where it broke across. The question is, the shop mounted it to factory mount at first and I told them to move it up +3. Would remounting have caused this breakage??? The break line was right across the remounted holes and not the filled holes. The screws were stripped out and etc, and I would assume that this was not caused by the remounting.
