I broke my PE

So, I got my PE's in the beginning of the season and now its broken. At the back, where the last two screws were mounted, that's where it broke across. The question is, the shop mounted it to factory mount at first and I told them to move it up +3. Would remounting have caused this breakage??? The break line was right across the remounted holes and not the filled holes. The screws were stripped out and etc, and I would assume that this was not caused by the remounting.

If it was right across the remounting hols THAT WERE NOT FILLED. I would say that is a huge coincidence that it woudln't be becase of that. Henceforth, the skis broke becuase the remounting holes were not filled.

I think the skis were weak already, and when they broke, they found they weakest spot. Even if they were drilled, they shouldn't break, you should be able to warranty them.

Yeh, the first holes were filled. And it broke right across at the remounted holes. I'll post a picture of it later.

tell the shops that remounted them to give you some new ones since it probably wouldnt have happened if the did it properly. OR try getting some under warranty. I doubt they'll give you a different size.

This happend to my friend's PEs last year. It ended up being the skis fault and not the shops even though they were remounted. The shop sent them back to k2 and they sent him a new pair. You should be able to do the same thing.
