Soft and stiff

What's a good ski that's neither soft or stiff. I like buttering but sometimes get annoyed because whenever you land in the backseat it's hard to recover. I also like to ski pipe and stiffer skis are good for that. What should I get????

Chronics are very mid... They arent really stiff but definitely not soft.

yeah that's not very much. i'd actually recommend the '05 line 1260. significantly stiffer than previous years, it's what i ride and it's definitely stiff enough to keep you from washing out, but supple enough to butter. for comparison, it's stiffer than something like an AR5, but not as stiff as a chronic (which always felt like a pretty stiff park ski to me).

Im like 130 and 5-5 and I ride chronic 177s... they are definitely not too stiff unless you really need to have noodles under your feet.

i said in my post that they're the '05 model. that doesn't change my recommendation. they're a great ski. if you really feel the need to get something new and flashy though, by all means do that, cuz there are plenty of other skis that would suit your needs.
