Anybody know how that MSP movie Immersion was? Was it just a regular ski movie, or like a documentary/skiing movie?

really neat footage, kinda slow, lots of talking. if youre from squaw or california in general, its a must own, but if you dont know anything about the gaffneys besides that they make msp movies, dont get it.

i share the same opinion as west...it was good because it was different from the typical ski vid. i thought the docu aspect offered a refreshing perspective. if you buy it, just don't expect all skiing and lot's of park footy...there is more commentary in addition to quality shots.

it depends on A, if you ski at squaw, and know the lines they're doing, and B, if you like the more soulful side of the ski movie thing and less park, just lines.

get it if you want a ski movie that gets to the soul of skiing and not just the sickest park footy. it has almost all big mountain and really makes you want to ski after watching it... just don't expect to watch over and over like a jib flick.

that movie is def on my top ski movies list. the reason being because it is so different. it is more artisitic than anything else, and i have grown up watchin those guys ski (mconkey, gaffneys etc) so i could relate well to it. if your a park rat, don't bother. but if you appreciate skiing for the beauty that surrounds the sport and being out in the mountains, it is a must own.



I hope that some day we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people
