Replying to Ebay issue... cops involved??

so i sold a paintball gun on ebay and the auction states paypal only.

the kid that bought it claims to have sent me money orders.

he opened a item not received dispute and then closed it when the issue wasnt resolved.

now he told me hes going to contact his lawyers and the local authority in my city.

so my question is, can he do that? or can issues on ebay only be solved by ebay authority?? my understand was thats why ebay had security measures set in place, and if cops come to my door i dont have to tell or do shit for them.

anyone know forsure?
