Seeing as this is a cult for people who live in NZ or are heading to NZ this season.
Where abouts is everyone going? This may be a thread you've already have had, but I didn't see it anyway if u did.
I'm going to Snowpark, and planning on living in Wanaka. Getting there in 2 weeks...

Heading to Wanaka all the way from the UK.
4 weeks today & I can't wait. Going to be skiing TC mainly, but I'm sure I'll be up to Snowpark.

Yeh I'm also from UK. It's pretty much the furthest flight we could have chosen from England- not looking 4ward to it at all!
I hope there's a few Brits there. Would be cool to see a few make the trans-globe trip.

Cool, It's a bitch of a flight but so worth it. Have you been there before?

Nope, was trying to go last year, but couldn't get the money together in time, I think I'll get more out of it this year anyway.
Just trying to find insurance- its more money I'd not realised I had to spend. I got to get a job as soon as I get out there, otherwise I'll be making the massive flight straight back home again!

Yeah, Insurance stings. I think the best is the bmc.
Wanaka is such a cool place. Gonna be doing my NZSIA 2 instructor qual but not till the ed of July so I've got a month before just to ski. I am sure we will bump into each other. It a small place.

As for me, i'l be at mt. ruapehu for most of the time, heading down south maybe for a week in July if i can afford it and organize it.... I would go to Wanaka and ski snowpark as much as I can and TC on a powder day.

yea the flights 2 New Zealand are long, so feel for us. Whenever we go anywhere overseas we have long ass flights haha. But i'd definatly say if your flying all the way from England to ski you wanna go down to the south island

----ArmadaNZ---- I did a season up a Whakapapa in 2003. Lots of down days but the terrain there is pretty sweet. Especially up on the pinnacles. I lived in National Park in a tin shed.
Can't wait to get back to NZ. I would love to move down there permanatly.
Hope to catch up with some of you guys. If you are going to ski TC then just let me know. It would be cool to go ski.
I am training for 3 days a week then the rest is my own. I can't work as I already used my working holiday visa so I am working my ass off now so I can play for the season.
