Wow check that shit out, looks like so much fun. Carving like that on a skateboard. I really want one but im not sure if it would be worth the 200 bone. Anyone ever tried one of these things out.

yeah bbut these are more of a snowboarding thing, it can go down a hill sideways and do reverts, any ways its way cooler that longboarding

i'd say just spend the money on a longboard. I own a freebord but they're fuckin hard to ride. You gotta have a road that's paved pretty smoothly. I'm a snowboarder and it's hard, i bet it's way harder if you've never snowboarded before.

i talked to some guy on the freeboard team, and he said that they're awesome but you really need to have hills around you otherwise you need to do some work to get speed. he said he just uses his longboard for cruisin cause its more relaxing and stuff, and you don't need hills to get it going good

no its not, i rode my friends and it was soooo much different. and kicking the sides out is hard to learn, well it takes a little practice to get good at. people can do rails and shit with them now so its really sick, and looks really badass if your cruzing down a hill and someones is like hey look a long board and then you whip it out like completely sideways and they go holy shit what is that thing.

its a lot harder for non-snowboarders (ie. me), but if you ride one for a day you will get the hang of it in a little while, its just wierd balancing and stuff, and when you want it to swing out you have to make sure like the trucks are somewhat off the ground and the middle wheel is whats mostly holding you up. (thats where the balance thing comes in). just try to ride a friends, its alot easier seeing for yourself than having someone explain it for you.

Longboarding is the shit, I dunno about those things, they look way to complicated, but longboarding is defenently the best way to spend your time in the summer, besides ski camp.

nah man they dont, but you can get them, they are just like mountain board bindings, just like a u-shaped bar that you slide your foot under, it helps you out a lot to have them, but you can still go without them. a lot of kids rock them for tricks now, like people can boardslide on a freeboard, its pretty sick.
