Fruitbooting

im just wondering, why do people hate fruitbooting so much?

I was talking to my friend about rollerblading at the whistler skatepark this summer and he told me that people would rather see a bad skateboarder than a good fruitbooter

??

the answer is because some of them are good skateboarders and a lot of them are wannabe skateboarders, and traditionally they don't get along, like ski racers and snowboarders (see Johnny Tsunami for reference), and don't realize that it's OK to respect other people for what they do. Why do you think we see so many "we hate snowboarder" threads

johnny tsunami was a great movie. I love when the grandpa, who never saw snow in his whole life, first run pulls out a 360 off a 35ish footer. And how they live in Vermont and the mountains they snowboard at are nothing like VT. Nonetheless, its good.

i think its just as cool if not cooler than skateboarding, it can look gay, but if u try and/or are good then it can look sic as hell
