MIME plugin

MIME stands for multipurpose internet mail extension...it tells your computer what kind of data it is sending and how to interpret that data.

There is no MIME extension. What the error means is that the type of file you're trying to view doesn't have a plugin that matches that MIME type that the server says it is sending.

What browser are you using and what are the file extensions of these files you're trying to use? Chances are you need to go download realplayer and windows media player for mac os x to get whatever you're trying to do to work.

If you want a definite answer, post a link to the site you're trying to load.

I downloaded both realplayer and windows media player and it wasn't working. Then I tried to run the video in both safari and firefox and it wasn't working. After that for the hell of it I tried using internet explorer and it worked but the videos on here were working and it was just some random site so i dont think its a big deal

using internet explorer on a mac is possibly the biggest travesty a mac owner could commit. then again, using internet explorer on a pc isnt such a hot idea either...
