Editing is definied as "by correcting, revising, or adapting.", When you apply this to video editing It is usually the correcting, or making better quality, revising, making better by deleting or adding clips, and adapting, which is where video can be 'edited' to music. By editing it to music it causes a flow which makes it easier for the person to watch. Editing is mostly mistaken for special effects and fades of every shot, which it is, until they are overused and do not go at all with the current song or audio clip selected. I just want people to think of this when they edit...editing is an art.
