Light switches in dreams

i u ever realize your dreaming while your dreaming u can always do the sweetest shit, but try this on for size light switches dont work in dreams. thats right next time u r dreaming and reailze your dreaming try turning off the lights, it dont work. i thought it was just crazy talk till i tryed it out not to long ago

Yeah.. waking life is all about lucid dreams. It's a pretty good/crazy movie..

There are other ways to tell whether or not you're dreaming. You can't control light levels, and you have no concept of time in your dreams, so you can't read clocks. this is beause these are more abstract concepts that other things you can control.

You can train yourself to have lucid dreams.. try flicking the lights on and off while youre awake, this way you're more inclined to do it in a dream. Also check the time regularly.

It's all about transcending the barrier between your conscious reality and your subconscious dreaming state. Once you master this, you've got yourself a lucid dream.

a lucid dream is when you're dreaming, and you KNOW that you're in a dream. Sometimes (more so with practise) you're able to control what happens and what you do in your dreams.

i have the most wacked out dreams ever. so fucking realistic, it's like a scene in a book is acted out with me as the main character. man, no wonder people invent shit and come up with crazy ideas. it's all from the dreams. i gotta start writing things down. a few nights ago, i could swear i had the scientific ability to prove field theory.

i've never had a lucid dream, that would be amazing. like your in the 4th dimension of a shoom trip or something. if anyone has ever taken ambien, there's where the fucked up dreams come from.

i was skiing up the mountain in one of my dream, and in others i cant open doors or walk forewards. sometimes i cant even open my eyes in my dreams and something is chasing me. haha

Another thing is, in a dream I can recognize a person, call them by name etc, but when I wake up, i can't recall what they looked like, what they were wearing..But i know it was them.

I've only ever had one lucid dream. It was pretty amazing shit though. I remember figuring it out by trying to check the time on my digital watch, and I couldn't. I'm never managed to lucid dream since then though.

Another tip to help you "practise" is to write down your dreams when you wake up.

holy shit, that reminded me of some dreams when i was younger. i hate these dreams. i remember there being a dimly lit house and i would turn the lights on so i could see better, but none of them work. i always started freaking out at this point, cuz i thought it was real. its so weird, cool in a way, but a lot freakier than cool.

the greatest is the falling sensation you get like right before you fall asleep. i read up about this dreaming and its a form of hallucination brought on by lack of sleep, drugs, stress, etc... but its pretty cool when you are just falling and your heart is like all tweaked out. once this falling sensation manifested itself in the form of a plane crash in which the plane nosedived and all of a sudden i realized i was dreaming but the feeling was so cool that i didnt wake myself up.

i had this one lucid dream where i was jumping real high chasing my brother and shit. and i could never catch him because hed just disapear. so i was like, wait a second, this is a dream, i can do whatever i want. after that i was disappearing, flying, climbing walls, jumping houses, it was sick.

i hate when you cnat open your eyes....but anyway in my dreams i do alot of math stuff....i can only figure out super crazy theories and physics when im asleep. then i wake up and im like "it all makes sense!" then 2 sec later it goes away. but i can control some dreams. i rarely dream tho

i get the overshooting stuff in dreams too... except once im in the air, i dont come back down. i just keep going and going. thats usualy what makes me aware that im actually dreaming, but the lucid dream doesnt last long, because i always wake up really shortly after i realize im dreaming.

You know how you dream for most of the night, but you cant remeber most of the dreams you have. I always wonder if i realize im dreaming in these dreams, and do whatever i want, but just dont remember it when i wake up.

have you ever had a dream that was way outa control and you were freaking out and shit? or like you see something weird that pertains to everyday life? or explanations of shit, once in a dream i saw a diagram and it said it was the pattern that the universe was built on, like the n-dimension or something like that, it was a few years ago

any one ever get that falling dream, but it never stops....one time i realized that i was dreaming that i was falling in a dream and then i stopped falling, and hit the ground (in the dream) and sorta did one of those things when your in school and you start to fall asleep and then jolt on the desk cause you think your about to fall out.

dude i always have lucid dreams. thats why when my alarm goes off i wanna murder someone because i was having a kickass dream. i also scare the shit out of myself sometimes... and it's tough to scare me (like in the spooky sense). they're the shit though. thats weird about what the dude said about time since i've had lots of dreams where i was concerned with getting somewhere on time. i can also control visual effects and "camera angles" if you will.

if it feels so real. it makes you wonder.....................

if the mind is powerfull enouf to create a world so real and controlable during sleep what stops the mind from making what we call the real world. or being able to physically control the real world or both in combanatiion. in other words do we create our own world? and if so can we physically change the world around us? how far down the rabbit hole do you want to go?(spelling?... whats that?)

and yes i have had that kind of dream(its sick!)

i always forget my dreams before i wake up.
or in a dream, I will have actually written that Theology essay or will have landed that jump or will have gotten that guy or soemthing really good like that, then i wake up and none of its fucking true! why?! waking life just doesnt cut it after those dreams.
i love lucid dreams though. i always go traveling/skiing/dancing/finding guys and theyre so fun. theyre total projections of what you want to do in your life, i think.
