Consequences for cop busted party?

Hey, so we just had our prom tonight, pretty fucked up affair, starting 6 ended at 9 and it was on a moving train... but anyway, that's not the point. So afterwards we all bounce out to a friends house, to throw a party for 20-30 people or so. Long story short, the cops get called after about 40 minutes, we're still clueless as to that happened, wasn't loud at all, must have been the cars... So everyone scrambles of course, we hear the cops yelling for kids to stop moving and come back, but me and 3 friends (one being the house owner) all get out by jumping into neighbor's yards and making our way to the street. We call into the party and get mixed stories, one girl (stoned and drunk, I know that as a fact) claims the cops were just there to check out a possible "burglery" and were letting the kids stay. My friend who had originally run with us and was completely sober went back and said they were telling everyone to get the hell out and calling parents. My question is, what is my friend who's house it was, and who orignally ran with us, facing in terms of reprecussions?

the cops come to are partys every weekend and they just come in and tell us that they will be around the area and that they will stop all the cars leaveing and checking for drunk drivers and they just tells us to keep the noise down and stay inside.

it all depends. my brother was at a small party in maryland that got busted and he has a fine of 500 dollars, still has to go to the hearing. the kid who took responsiblity for it ended up spending the night of the party in jail, and then 2 more nights in jail and a 500 dollar fine after his hearing. but thats mostly because they found pot. less than a gram.

I was at a party a few weeks ago and everybody but me was drunk, cops came and just made everybody pour out the beer and thats it.

mine friends party got busted once cause some girl got sick from drinkin too much but i think the parents punishment was worse than the cops which was like a small fine.

cops seem to show up at almost every party im at. they never do anything, at most they might make you pour out the beers but thats about it.

yea..the last 5 parties in my town have all been busted..we try to run..and we always end up gettin gcaught cause we are too drunk to run away..but the cops usually dont do anything..they just make eveyr]one call their parents to pick them up and call the parents of hte house and make them come..only two of the kids throwing hte party have been arrested considering kegs and half the kids being 16-18
