Has anyone taken both? How do they compare? I'm starting to get a little worried even though i'm taking it the next two years.

there is a new essay on the new sat. so its out of 2400 points instead of 1600

the essays are on really stupid crap.. its an opinion essay so you just say i think it is bad because or i think it is good because. One essay I took was one about if democracy is good thing or a bad thing. I can't remember the other one i took but it was really dumb.

i've taken both. the new one seemed easier but you shouldn't be worried about them now if you're going to take them in two years. enjoy the time you have before you have to take them. they're a pain in the ass and they take up a lot of time.

yeah, take a prep class or do practice tests. The new one is somewhat easier(the writing questions instead of analogies and no math comparisons). It takes up a lot fo time. It's really mentally exhausting too. 3 hours 45 minutes of hell.

For the essays, it's just stupid random topics, write about the toic in reference to literature, history, or personal experience. Write alot too. Some people did a study, and the people who grade it give better grades to people that wrote a lot more, even if the essays sucked.

i cant take him[liam downey] seriously cuz his name reminds me of that downy bear from back when i was a kid -d loc

Imagine the ns outcry if u(lateralis) were banned. There would be countless threads and petitions to bring u back, it would be like when treadway got banned from whistler. Someone would probably make and sell 'Free Lateralis' stickers and shit. -j

the questions were a bit easier without the annalogies but the fucker is soooooo long, by the end of like 4 and a half hours of SATs you cant even fill in a fucking bubble, i almost died i think it was the most mentally challanging thing in the world to do that much standardized testing at once, i did alot worse than i thought i would too, math-650, reading-510, writing-630

i heard that most colleges arent gonna look at the essays from the new one. but who can really be sure ?
i dont take the SATs till june 4th... but im def kinda nervous because i suck at these types of things.. majorly..




how about a jib for the mentally unstable aswell. maybe a picture of a kid with down syndrome on a box - anathema
