I bought it today, I've been a Weezer fan for a while and was a bit skeptical about a month ago when I heard Beverly Hills. I'm not one fortunate enough to have a computer at home so downloading stuff beforehand isn't possible. I saw them about a week and a half ago at Coachella where they played several songs from the new album. It was then that I found that Beverly Hills really isn't a godd representation of what the album is about. If you ask me Rivers did himself a favor in the last couple years, reconsilnig with himself and his bandmates. You can really tell on this album. Thank god it's not another Green or Maladroit. If you're a true Weezer fan you probably were just a disappointed with those two as I was. I hated them, and for good reason. But Make Believe is something of a turnback to what Weezer used to be. I recommend it, anyone who says anything less is only kidding themselves. A band can't stay the same forever, I realize that, but Make Believe is a return of the Weezer sound that's been missing as of late.

i didnt expect the album to be any good after hearing maladroit but actually its not bad. Its better than maladroit but still not as good as their early stuff. Might be a little les than equal to green album. Its not as heavy and its more slow.

yeah same. i just blew 40 bucks on concert tickets so im not in a spending mood, but i want it alot. i counted the days down until it came out. i didnt get it on the 10th though. yeah beverly hills is a terrible representation. its stupid. its just not a very good song. but the rest of the CD makes up for it. rivers has been doing some weird shit by going totalitarian on the other band members, going on 2 week straight meditation sabaticals in closets, and ditching all of his possessions basiclly, but it worked if you can write all this amazing music. i know he doesnt care about money and shit but seriously this will make alot.
