Well i was just catchin up on some edit watchin and i started to notice that a certin indiviadual... not to mention ne names (sketchline) only post comments tellin people how bad they r or givin expert oppions, like hes ghandi himself. The last one i read he was tellin a young kid how bad his edit was and to by a better camera... i have an crazy idea i just want to throw out there.... if u dont like the edit just dont post... no one really wants to hear u make fun of some kid just to make yourself feel big; and if your goin to talk shit at least post some footage of your own soo that we can at least see if your worthy of critism or not... if you want go to edits and check it out yourself

keeping your mouth shut is a good way to prevent anyone from improving. this kid whose posting this stuff might just be a cock sucking douchebag, but i want criticism is someone has it. its how i improve my style.

come on asac, are you kidding me? do you think if a kid sucked at skiing but no one told him he did he would jsut assume hes pro and would never improve? he obviously knows he cant throw down like the best, so he will always keep improving his game.

i dont mind critizm but people really dont have to be asses about it, im not sayin this because ive had my feelin hurt; u can say nething bad u want about me. i really dont what someone on the other side of the contry has to say. i just think it hurts the comminity and makes kids that might be good one day not want to post cuz someone shot them down

since when does criticism have anything to do with what the critic themselves is capable of. if that was the case then half the film, music, art, sports, and literature critics out there wouldn't have a job. do you really think that rolling stones staff is capable of half the stuff they review, or could roger ebert actually produce consistently good films, or any sports columnist coach any team to victory? i hate it when people use that stupid excuse, its completely worthless. a history professor might pinpoint the shortcomings of napoleon, but that doesn't mean they could command an army themselves?

Look, would you like some dickheads heckling you in the park every time you fell? If someone posts a clip or edit saying "This is the absolute shit, B-crew represent!" or something like that and it sucks, then you can make fun of them. But if they're just some guy posting something they made and are new at it, keep your mouth shut if you cant say anything nice.

it doesn't apply well to skiing, but it does apply to things like photoshop. without criticism, your progression would be much slower.

i agree with the constructive criticism versus the negative criticism, but there are two sides to each coin, no one wants to see some terrible shit posted on the internet when theyre browsing for a good ski video, and also no one wants their terrible shit slammed for being bad, the best solution to something like this would be if you have nothin nice to say just fucking rate it low and leave, you dont actually have to tell every bad skiier that they dont know how to get off the ski lift
