Does anyone else hate the commercials for Dr. Scholl's gel shoe inserts... Especially the new one where the kid fucks up the guys brand new widescreen TV, and he doesn't even care because his shoes are so comfortable:

"wow mister, you must REALLY be gellin'!"
"was he yellin'?"
"nope, he was gellin'!"

"hey helen, you gellin'?"
"I'm gellin', you want some melon?"

The acting is just so horrible. I have to change the channel when those commercials come on.

Comfortable shoes are nice, but that doesn't change the quality of that commercial... Plus I've heard that those inserts aren't even very comfortable. I don't know though

^^true but they make the car heavier therefore getting you stuck to the road more... so safer in some sence

^they have GPS tracking, they know who you are as soon as you hit the button. thats what is cool about it... if you are in trouble the cops will be on there way faster than any other method. onstar just tracks your car as soon as that button is touched

I have those inserts for my ski boots, and I am most certainly not gellin. They dont work, but they are blue, and have a squishy gell like substance inside them (probably gell), so they are neat. I hate the commercials too.

i hate the commercials with a rage that only luke felt when darth vader threatened to find leia and turn her to the dark side. but they stick with you dont they? its all marketing, and trying to get you to remember the product. people remember really good commercials, and really bad ones, never the ones that are alright, or are only slightly bad. seeming how they're advertising an insert for a shoe, chances are taht its next to impossible to make an epic commercial, so they go for a really bad one.

who said they were uncomfortable i tried some the other day and they were awesome it was like walkin on pillows but since im really really cheap i didnt buy them. not only because im cheap but im not willing to spend like 20 bucks on a shoe insert

I don't know if i could even give you an "E" for effort on that one. It actually is Magellan as people have pointed out, and the significance of using his name is that it rhymes with gellin'. He was an explorer that set off to circumnavigate the world but didn't make it, though his crew did.
