canada and legalization

everybody knows that canada is leaning towards it, right? well, i just heard today that the U.S. told Canada that if they do it, we're cutting off all trade with them. i do'nt know if it's true, but if it is it's bullshit, and i'm moving to canada

i just saw on the news that nevada has a measure on their ballot that would make it legal to be in possesion of up to 3 ounces of weed.

yea, acutally it's already legal in a couple of counties in nevada.

i mean if canadian govement wants to allow their citizens to be able to grow, posses and smoke it, then fine. side note, they never catch people smokin in gondolas, anywhere

hahahaha thats the fucking funniest thing i've ever heard. Sure cut off trade with canada. We supply the U.S. with plenty of nesecary resources. I.e. power, remember the California blackouts? it would be alot worst then that. And their is a large amount of lumber(that doesn't have tarrifs on it) that their economy needs. It's definatly not true, cause they would be majorly fucking themselves up the ass if they cut off trade with canada.

Think about this...

If marijuana is legalized, will you not be able to drive after puffin a J?

Can you not have 'open' marijuana in position in a motor vehicle?

CAn you not be blazed in public?

And if legalized rather than decriminalized what other chemicals may be added by the 'manufacturers' of the substance?

Is it your intent to sell marijuana if you happen to have three different strains that you enjoy consuming meaning that you would have 4-6 pounds in your possession at harvest time, even if you couldn't or didn't want to smoke that much it's just the way the plant works.

For me, I would rather see decriminalization.

they will legalize it when they find a way to regulate it. my guess being they will make some type of quick blood test (like diabetes thing) to measure your level... that may not work.. but I bet they will just say you can't get charged for less than an ounce, and you need to smoke in weed cafe's and cannot leave with the dope.

well one thing that is really causing a problem about it getting legalized is that they dont really have a way for the police to test you fast. they have tests for short term but not if youve already came down off your high

I for one see no problem in legalizing... being an American i can fuly say that our government is bullshit..and they are probably bluffing about the whole trade thing..the only bad thing i see is that it will be taxed if legalized...but anywho it will help the economy

i watched a news artical about it and they said that they want to leagalize it because the laws are not working... also it said nothing about the USA having a trade embargo on canada if they do... also the coolest part is that they want it to be legal for 16 and up, thats good for you youngins out there

Kevin, that would be a total violation of Canadian rights. the pigs don't have the right to take blood from you unless you give consent, you don't even have to blow into a breathalyzer if you don't want to, it's just a $300 fine if you don't. they need to come up with a way to make a sort of breathalyzer or roadside checks would never happen.

they could somehow make a test somewhat like a breathalyzer, but smoking and driving isn't even bad. it's nothing like drinking and driving

thats what I'm saying, they need a way to regulate it, and up to date the only way to determine a persons weed level is through blood.

this seems teh best place to ask i guess: I smoked some weed for the first time teh other day, I had like 10 fat drags of it but i felt absolutely nothing. now i knwo it wasnt dodgy shit cuz it was my friends and she gets it form her friend who grows it, its all straight shit. So maybe i was like smoking it wrong or sumfin, but i felt nothing and it was a pretty bummer i was stoked. So whats the deal?

weed is the 10th largest industry in the united states. they need to legalize so they can control it. they are missing out on major $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. and if its legalized and taxed, it will still be a lot cheaper than it is today. look at price of tobacco vs weed

Yeah you just gotta take the big hits and hold that shit in your lungs for about ten seconds. Make sure your getting enough smoke from the spliff, if someone knows how to roll you should feel yourself wanting to cough while your hauling. Sometimes spliffs get fucked and no smoke comes out, or you have to hit it in a strange way.

we had a marijuana discussion in gym class today and my teacher said one joint is equal to 15 cigarettes, and smoking weed gives you lung cancer and emphazyma. he also tried to tell me people die from smoking weed all the time, and some people even die after smoking it for their first time. ha.

my brothers friend said some of the weed in the united states is put on the streets by the government to make money off of it, but if they do that i dont see why theyre against legalizing it, they could make money off taxes.

what they should do is legalize it and sell it like cigarettes, but also let people grow it
