Name of rail slide?

Is there a name for skiers doing (what snowboaders call) a lipslide?

Thats where if you hitting a street rail from the right side, you put your tails over the rail and slide facing to the right.

or just go into the park on any given day, and you should see someone lipslide if yu have a descending rail. i bet if you searched videos.. lipslide, you'd find one.

i love the way skiing has incorporated so many skate terms, but that make no sense to skiing.

makes no sense at all. because people use the term fakie meaning switch, when in skating fakie = switch nollie. it's all messed up, skating and skiing are two completely different things. skis are attached to your feet. i mean, skiers should just have their own terms for 'ollies' or 'nollies' and whatnot.

how do you do a nollie back lip? on skis you dont have backside. just a nollie lipslide is accurate though. (backside on a snowboard is when the rail is to your back, but since its either to your left or right on skis you cant have backside and frontside.)

yeah its a lipslide but somebody up there^ called it a backside lip, which just isnt possible on skis. the nollie is though
