mmm watched some track and field last week. the hurdles look hard as hell. I cant believe you have to jump and run at the same time... one at a time is good enough for me.

A LESSON FROM A HARDCORE SMOKER: if your really hardcore you can just smoke out of your hands. make a loose fist but keep your fingers together and pack the entire empty space in the middle with herb. then open up your pinky finger enough so that the herb doesnt fall out but you can light it. then just breath in from the top hole and ull get mad respect -eastar5

but my coaches are gay about it b/c "im only allowed to have one dangerous event jeopardizing my distance events" even tho im better at them than distance now

for some reason when i read this thread i pictured some little kid curled up into a ball... but no i dont hurdle, tryed it once, landed with one hurdle between the legs and decided it wasnt for me.

at a meet i got 9' (its not very good :( but keep in mind i just started this year)...at prac and stuff i can get a little more. most of the guys in my area are clearing like well i don't actually know.. so i'll assume like 12' or more

I run 110hurdles, 400 hurdles, 400, 4x4, 4x1, 100, 200, and Long jump.

I do alot. As for the person who said jump and run at the same time, you don't jump hurdles, its a extension of your stride to clear it.

I did the 100 hurdles, but then I found out I sucked at them and I switched to shot and discus, and first time I threw them I got the record, boo yah. But um anyways, discus is where it's at.

One of our conditioning/running coaches for rugby was on the Canadian national team for hurdles, hes stupid fast its kinda annoying trying to go flat out and hes jogging at like 75 percent.

note to self avoid blowing motor....again

i do the 110m hurdles... i run a 16.00, not too bad. i also do the 300m hurdes my pr in that is a 44.2. and while i'm at it... i do high jump too. my best is 6'

Yo i am on the track team .. i do 110m hurdles..400 hurdles....200m dash.....and on occasionaly the 4X400m relay.

we have this one kid on out team who i think is 3rd in the state (NEW YORK) for the 100m dash and the 200m dash. he is crazy.. our 4X100 team is hopefully going for the school record this year... they get 43 seconds.. and the school reccord is 42 so hopefuly they got it!

and in case u wanna know Eli Clark's time in the 100m and 200m is.. his PRs are.... 10.8 and 22.3
