Line celebs

If you want to ski all mountain and utah powder you will definitley need a bigger ski than a 172...enjoy getting stuck in powder constantly and generally skiing like a beater all day. even if you are a girl youre a bigger girl so get like a 180

the celebs aren't going to be that much different than the skis you already have. and if the fujas feel heavy, i have no idea what to recommend as those are super light sticks. as skibum mentioned, if you are going to be skiing deep UT snow, you'll want something longer than a 172.

how long are your moships?? if they are also a 172, and you have 179 fujas, i'd keep both those as all-mtn/pipe skis and get something bigger and longer for pow days. trust me, once you get used to a bigger, longer and wider ski, you won't want anything to do with those others.

i know earlier you were considering the prophet 100. definitely don't rule that out yet. however, it will be alot of ski if you aren't fairly aggressive. are you looking only at lines?? post back with answers to a few ?'s and we'll give you some more options.

well i have 172 motherships and i love them, and i got fujis, i love my motherships in the powder, they are awesome when its even waist deep. so i was looking at the celebs bc they are alot like my motherships but lighter and better for women. im not ruling other brands, i just like line and if i get lines then i dont have to get another set of bindings bc i have reactors

See, the problem is that Celebs will be a lot like your moships but lighter and softer. If a 172 moship seems to be on the "not enough ski" side of things, you won't be any better off with Celebrities... they're obviously very similar skis. My advice is still: consider a 175 ARV or the Elizabeths for pow.

other brands are also worth considering as you would only need to spend a small amount to get a freedom plate for the reactors. not to mention, if it's a larger all-mtn ski, the extra rise would help you out.

the bottom line is, you are quite tall and if you are moving to UT, it is guaranteed you will have a number of deep pow days. as i said before, i'd keep the fujas as a park ski and the moships for lighter pow days, but you'll be happy if you get something a bit longer (and maybe a bit stiffer) for those deep days or even days with varied conditions.

if the prophet 100 seems like too much, you might look at the prophet 80. other options for all-mtn skis are: pe's, pistols, arv, msp, etc etc etc

you might really enjoy a 179 pistol. super sick ski in all conditions, but still soft enough that you would have no trouble powering it. plus, the 179 size is a step up in length for you, but not so much that you would be overwhelmed

well im sorta looking at the liza's but they are 172s also, i got a mad good deal on the celebs and thats why im looking at them, but i found out today i might be able to get proform on k2 from my sisters bf. i like the arv's alot but its hard for me to get a killer deal on them

the lizzys are a pretty good choice. although they are shorter, they'd give you plenty of float on deep days. the celebs just don't seem much different than what you've already got. do you have the current year moships or the gray ones from the year before?? if you have the filtes, the celebs won't be much different.

if you can get proform on k2's, look into getting a 179 pistol or vicious...that would be my top recommendation....you will absolutely love them.

the arv is another good choice. watch ebay...i've seen a few pairs of 175's (both this year's and last year's) going for cheap cheap cheap

i have the grey ones, the ones w/ the train on the bottom. yea im looking at arvs, the lizas look good but really fat, like i dont want a ski i can only ride the powder and trees w/

well, the celebs are going to be a bit softer than the current moships you have, but the moships are in most regards, a better all-mtn ski.

definitely don't shy away from the lizzys due to their width. you'd be surprised how easy it is to get used to a fat ski and how much you will love it! i ski made'ns on a daily basis and have a pair of prophet 130s on the way. fat skis are stable and fun as hell.
