the major thing that made me decide utah over boulder was that they have better business majors for what iw ant to do also i was in their business school i wasn't in the business school at boulder. i want to get into the skiing/ snowboard industry and park city is just blowing up so thats kinda where i have to be to do that. also i thought i would stand out more at utah and really shine, like there i felt i would beore unique unlike at boulder where i would fit in and be like every other person there. i choose acedemics over social, like if you wanna go and have the best 4 years of your life goto boulder, but for me i really wnated to suceed and go far and follow my passion and my love, so i choose utah.
like if i went to boulder i would major in art or art history and there really isn't aton you can do with that, its not a really money making feild and i know it wouldn't pay for my passion of skiing.
if i goto utah i will get an entrepuneral (i have no idea how to spell it, like when you start your own business) degree and then from there i will goto pratt or parsons for my major in fashion and go into ski/ snowboard clothing ect.
location wise boulder is amazing, beautiful campus, BEAUTIFUL awesome town, yea good skiing but its not utah.
also everyone there is rich preppy, and or a hippie.
utahs awesome too, 13 mtn's within an hour radius of the school.
just do what you wanna do, i hope my advice helps in your desicion, i know when i was deciding i asked as many people as i could for their oppions.
oh yea and utah's dorms are fucking awesome!!!! like i am sharing a 4 bedrooom dorm, with 2 bathrooms and a living room, on an "outdoor adventure" floor with 3 other room mates.
its fucking awesome!!!
boulder, they are shitting, no airconditioning, and like you share the bathroom with your whole floor, eww...
