So I just got off the phone with Johnny, and he told me that he was just wrapping up the most progressive park shoot that he has ever been a part of. He did it in conjunction with MDP. Just a couple of Higlights: Jacob W. going 26 feet off of one of thier two gigantic hips. Andreas 22 ft. flatspin. Candide went like 20 ft. up a tree jib and 270ed out . All of the riders on the Mack Dawg crew were shitting themselves! That's just a few of the exhobitant amount of highlights that took place over 7 seven days in Tahoe at two resorts. I will give you more of the dirt when I hear it.

yeah. 26 feet outta a hip isn't all that impressive. bigger than 99% of NS'ers, including myself... but a few years ago when Candide was clearing that hip straight over, he was prolly like 40 feet up. Sounds sick though. and i too, am glad to see that skiing and boarding are sorta coming together. the most respected from both sports sessioning together.

I went up to Sierra and saw the step-down that they were supposed to be hitting...it was crappy weather though and they weren't done building it. I heard about the tree-jib though, I can't wait to see it.

they should do a competition, one major ski production company and one major snowboard production are put together, like Poorboyz and MackDawg, then they get like 1 month to film and edit wherever they want and whose ever movie wins gets some big prize... and they are voted on by the reasers of transworld and freeskier...

You'll know it when you see it... its will be the hip shot that looks photoshoped. Remember the pole from Jon's huge hip at hood? well, its the same pole and they were going WAY over the top with no tombstone on the jump.
