The website is kinda vague, because at some spots, you have the choice between 2 roads.
Has anyone done it before? quebec to bc?

go through ottawa and take highway 17 west, and from there continue in a western direction, there arent really any other forks in the road except at winnipeg, but both take you back to the highway again.

Hey Julien, I did the drive from Whistler back to TO a year ago - I did 5 SOLID days of driving. 14 hours Whistler to Calgary first day, 12 or so to Brandon Manitoba second, 10 or so to Thunder Bay, then 7 or so to Sault St Marie and 7 to Toronto. I think you are dreaming with 3 days, let alone 4.
I took the TransCanada the whole way as well - there is a route across from Ottawa to towards the Sault that you should take - going into the states is silly from Montreal as you have to go around Southern Ontario and it would take more time, unless you have some sort of mission there.
Highway 17 through Ontario is a way nicer drive than 11, but both of them meet up in Thunder Bay anyhow. From there, its the same highway all the way to Calgary, then you have some options again as you go through the rockies. Most should be ok this time of year.

ok. from montreal take the 401 to highway 416, then the 416 to ottawa, then you get on the 417 west which turns into the 17. follow the 17 until you get to the 1. then follow the 1 to vancouver.
there ya go.

if you fly standby, it can be quite cheap. that's the way to go, if you don't mind hanging around in an airport all day.

If there's more than one person in the car, take shifts driving and go non stop. Not even for gas.

Take the train?
Have you ever looked at VIA rail prices? Its like getting your wallet pulled out of your ass really fast over and over. Reamed to death by credit card.
