Replying to Seth MacFarlane almost died
so i got the new issue of spin today and there's an interview with seth macfarlane. read this q.
spin: you were scheduled to fly in one of the planes that crashed on 9/11, but you wound up missing your flight--did that experience change you in any way?
seth: I'm not a particularly religious person, as you may have guessed. close calls, i imagine, happen far more often than we would like to know about. I sent my travel agent a huge basket of flowers and a bottle of wine, but it hasn't really affected me, partially because i can't let it. I'm in the business of comedy, and i can't let one incident turn me solemn and unable to write jokes.
so yeah, if he hadn't missed his flight, family guy probly wouldnt be starting again and american dad wouldnt either. thank you jebus
I would rather discover a single fact, even a small one, than debate the great issues at length without discovering anything at all. -- Galileo Galilei, c. 1640
