I just bought LINE 1260's (2005) and I need bindings for them, i was thinking about reactors (2005) but ive heard theyre heavy and break easy, i also heard that 2005 LINE skis can only have LINE bindings on them, if anyone has 2005 1260's w/ reactor bindings, can u tell me how they perform, can someone tell me about the whole LINE and diff binding thing, thnx

You can put any bindings you want on 1260's.
Reactors a nice bindings, but have a tendency to brake alot. They're really heavy, and cost alot. If I were you I would get p12's.

^your homework for the night is to get a pair of reactors, put them on a scale, and then write down their weight. Repeat with a pair of P12s. Then compare weights, only to realize that the difference ain't shit and you're an idiot. Then, shoot yourself.

^agreed
^^not to mention, p12s are most likely just as expensive as reactors at most places unless you find them on sale/clearance

^^^That's a fairly negative way of looking at my post.
Reactors cost like $200, and p12's cost like $150. I never said that p12's were light, there just a little lighter. And reactors ARE really heavy, so I don't see your problem.

The only reason I'd ever get reactors is if I had multiple pairs of Line skis.

i have salomon ti bindings on mine. the ti's with 1260's are the lightest setup possible, and it really makes more of a difference in your skiing than most people realize. this year's been pretty progressionary.

I have weighed them and the difference is very significant. As is the durability. After breaking two pair this year I finally put an S914 with the lifter on my Mothership Ti 182's and the difference in weight and performance on my ski has been profound. Not only did I go from a 12 din Reactor to a 14 din Salomon, I dropped nearly a pound from my set up. Without the lifter it would have been an even bigger difference. But it will be all good next year because they're making a camo pair to match my Prophet 130's and Olive Camo one piece Oakley suit. As long as they fix the durability issues or my friendly neighborhood line rep continues to give me free replacements on the spot I'll be chillin.

the camo binding was supposed to be a team edition but was stopped in production because no shops bought them. They'll still have the regular one (with green guerrilla faces)

ok so reactors are really heavy, and u can put diff bindings on 1260s, but theres 4 holes right in the middle of the ski, say i was to put on salomon bindings or something, would i just leave the 4 holes in the middle and drill in the regular holes for the bindings around them?
lifes a bitch and so am I

^Yes, you wouldn't have to fill the holes.
