Ipod question

my sister IMed me with this.....can anyone help out?

"i was updating my ipod on itunes and itunes froze so i had to exist and then i restarted itunes and my ipod didnt respond to it so i unplugged the ipod from teh computer and it just says do not disconnect and it wont turn off so i put the software in and it wont respond and i called the place but they keep hanging up so do u think if i let it run tonight and it runs out of battereies that will fix it?"

anyone know what to do here?

Yeah let the batteries run out, it worked for me when it froze.

yea it's like menu and pause or sumthing. i cant remember. but it resets it

ya same thing happened to mine you just have to reset it but reseting it is
confusing as hell

I called her and told her to try reseting it according to the manual....not sure if shes tried yet. Ill let you know when she calls me back. Thanks for all the help guys.

yah if she dosnt know how to rest just thell her to hold menu and playy pause at the same time untill it resets that will work for that problem i have to do it all the time
