What is the best radar detector

i'm thinking of getting one that is also a jammer

would a jammer get u busted, and even if it didnt work they would realize ur going 100 in a 75 or somthing easly, and ud have to do that 2 see if the jammer even worked

i got the passport escort. its saved me so many times from tickets. its one of the better ones, but its 300 dollars.

cops radar works from farther away than most radar detectors. At least thats what my golf coaches stepbrother told him who told me.

My friend has the passport 8500. It works really well and he always cruises above 100 mph on highways, but last week he got his first ticket after having this thing for 4 years. I would say don't speed.

whatt ever you do dont get a jammer because some radars can tell when they are being jammed and that normally ends up being a bigger ticket anywaysave some more money and buy a valintine

i'll be the third to say it the valentine one is the BEST radar detector that you can buy. honest to god its amazing. someone said that radar guns have a longer range....no because the weak radar waves will reach your car and alert you through the V1 but the cops will need a stronger resturning signal to get a speed rating on you. also the V1 has laser capabilites. it has saved my ass quite a few times and also its just nice to have the information that it gives you.

its ilegal in the US to jam radar becasue its a radio wave but lasers are not and can legally be jammed so do NOT get a radar jammer you'l get your ass busted but laser jammers are legit and i wish i had one.

and for the people saying don't speed, a radar detector isn't always about being able to speed its about being more aware of your suroundings. how many times have you accidently gone over the speed limit? I'd assume a lot and do you think its right to get a speeding ticket and have your insurance go up and the city make a couple hundred bucks off you? personally i think thats bullshit and thats why i ride with one
