Thats right, Woodbury ski area beat killington to opening day this year. 43 years down the drain. HAHA ct kids can ride lifts before vt kids. NEver thought i'd see that day. woodburyskiarea.com

i just called and they said that had a rail and jump up, and they might have more if theyre able to make more snow.

Being Irish, I guess I should resent the Notre Dame nickname 'The Fighting Irish.' After all, how long do you think nicknames like 'The Bargaining Jews' or 'The Murdering Italians' would last? Only the Ironic Irish could be so naively honset. I get the feeling that Notre Dame came real close to naming itself 'The Fuckin Drunken, Thick-Skulled, Brawling, Short-Dicked Irish'

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?

that woodburyskiarea.com place in CT is such a joke. go to the site...nothing compared to killington. they should be counted as a ski resort...more like someone with a snowmaker in their back yard.

i think all the snow melted, im not sure but i called yesterday and they said there wasnt much left, but they might have made more last night.

as much as i wanna ski right now, it seems like a real waste to have resorts making snow,and having melt the next day, just to say that they were the first to open

This guys is the stingiest bastard ever, but hes got a bunch of rails, some decent jumps, and basically lets you run the place. We took 4 rails on the mountain and hooked them all up so it was a triple kink and he didnt' give a shit. But then he did chase us off the ski area threatining us with arrest once he found out we didn't buy tickets...

Pilot, just be happy that they're skiing too. And as much as you'd like to think, Killy isn't anything special either.

Will-did you guys have to build the jumps too like last year?

i went there on saturday and it sucked, since it rained it melted all the snow away, howerver i am glad that they are making it, hopefully it will be better next weekend.
