how do the scratchs' amd the scratch fs' do carving. i live in ohio so it will be mostly on ice. thanx for all responses

Lots of people think that they're great for regular skiing. I'm not sure about ice though, I'm sure they'd be fine though.

i got a pair of scratches and i think they hold great on everything you just really have to push to ski sometimes

would the fs or the regular scratch be better. for carving. i have also heard that the core on the fs breaks down and the ski gets flimsy?

the sidecuts are the same so they're gonna carve the same, the regular scratches do have a wood core which do last longer but the thc core in the fs will give you more pop and lightness to the ski and yes they tend to lose its pop after awhile
