and i was looking at the goggles, the i saw these.

they look alot like the goggles jon olsson used at x-games, except the nose peice. they are sick

those are the Motorcross ones so they have a nosepiece, the ski ones wont have a nosepiece

I was just on Oakley.com and they make their clothes look nasty in the pics. Especially the anorak, I could make it look alot better.

Yes, these are motocross goggles complete with tear of system and nose piece. MX goggles don't generally come with a nosepiece like these do, Oakley's tryin' something new. And yes, the price on these goggles will most definitley skyrocket when a snow version comes out.

That's why I'd buy these, then throw a kick ass snow lense in em'.

Color schemes might also change for skiing though...

You my friend are a dumbass. BMX (meaning Bicycle Motocross) was actually the motorless predecesor to Motocross, a sport that has been around since the 50's. Freestyle motocross began when racers got fed up with so called "conformity" in racing (when in reality they just weren't winning and needed a change) and decided to branch out.

Freestyle MX may have taken a few tricks from BMX, but tell me you'd heard of the Nac Nac, Heel Clicker or a Rock Solid in BMX.

Motocross is one of the most progressive extreme sports to date. In fact, Ricky Charmichael signed a $10 million contract with Suzuki this year and motorcycle technology advances every day at Research and Development (R&D) departments all over the world. God knows we've got YEARS before we see that in skiing.

yeah, using millions of dollars to improve and progress dirt biking sounds like a good idea to me. unfortunately, i do know several people who are not sponsored in bmx who can do both nack nacks and heelclickers

yeah you may have friends who can do nac nacs and heelclickers on bmx but can they do them over 95 foot doubles on a 250lb motorcycle? (probably not) even if they could do heelclickers and nac nacs they wouldn't be progessing the sport and would be laughed out of any freestyle event

Millions of dollars are spent in the attempt to progress the sport of skiing as well. You must be retarded if you think that some of Skiing's major corporations haven't spent millions on marketing or product research and development. Millions of dollars are spent on wharehouses and ski manufacturing facilities.

Motocross has been around for a good deal of time and since then, has progressed greatly. Today's top racers are faster spinning lap times faster than ever. Statistics have commonly shown that Motocross, next to soccer, is one of the most endurance oriented sports in the world. Racers (not freestyle riders) put in more effort practicing and training than the Armada team combined. THAT , my friend is why motocross has progressed so rapidly as a sport. It's something called Determination and good deal of natural talent.

Freestyle motocross is a joke. It's a group of washed up racers that carved another niche for themselved by dicking around in quarries and backyards. The point I was trying to make with the heel clicker or nac nac example wasn't that BMXers could do them, but THAT THEY ORIGINATED ON A FUCKING MX BIKE.

but seriously, who would wear the nose peice for dirtbike, i wore one when i had a studed ice race in febuary and it was like 2 degree's but i wouldnt wear one fo the the hell of it. i think you can take it off.
