Which is the better game personally halo 1 is better than halo 2 because they FUCKED HALO 2 UP REALLY BAD.

If halo 1 had x box live it would totally kill halo 2.

They killed halo 2 with the fucking no fall damage , no health , the warthog doesnt drive the same , if you drive halo 1 warthog then drive halo 2 warthog its more jagged feeling.

They could of made halo 2 alot better. If they just stuck with halo 1 and made more levels and maps.

Another bad thing is the interface its tooo crowded in halo 2.

And they should of never included the Flood in halo 2. I mean like 3 levels was enough in halo 1. I hate them Floody type things.

hey the flood are actually easy to kill in 2 u just use the sword. it only takes off 3 energry too. i like the battle rifles and carbines i like how u get that dot in the middle and it kills the little people 1 hit or the people with shields. brute shots are amazing too

only played Halo 1 once.

I went over to my buddies house today to play Halo 2. we did a easy Campain co-op beat it in 3 hrs.

wow so much fun, then we went live.!

OMG... wow, there are so many pricks on live when you talk to them.

the ending in two blew ass.

multiplayer maps in two are way better than one,but the pistol has no zoom and kinda sucks

get two.

Halo 2, no fall damage and no health I like MUCH BETTER.

The overall story of 1 was better I think, becuase it was so new and groundbreaking. But I'm a huge fan of the whole series in general.

i liked playing over the internet with 1, because there were no bad people to play, everyone was good, no assholes. Health was also better in 1, as well as the storyline. basically, 1 is better.

if halo 1 had live no one would play h2. i prefer halo 1 maps and guns. who cares about the story line? after you beat it once you just play multiplayer forever anyway

1 and 2 are totally different games...

I would say I prefer Halo 2 for multiplayer because it doesn't have the pistol bullshit. I was pretty good at it, but I always thought it was sorta lame that the pistol was so accurate. The guns are much better in 2, except for that fucking lame sword. It's also way too easy to stick people with plasma grenades in 2.

The vehicles are way better in 2, with the damage and everything. Way more fun, plus there are more of them.

I liked the single-player in halo 1 better though... the maps were way bigger and more open-ended. I think what happened is that they spent too much time on the art in halo 2 (notice how everything looks better) but they didn't put enough time into actually building the levels, so they're really linear and while all the architecture and everything looks great, there just isn't the depth halo 1 had.

Halo 1 > Halo 2

Why? Because to me multiplayer doesn't make a game. The Campaign in 1 is just great, and the weapons and flow of Halo 1 makes the game a challenge. Co-op in 1 is probably the greatest halo experience i ever had (beating the game legendary co-op, multiple times) The weapons in Halo 1 are well balanced, compared to Halo 2.
Yes the multiplayer in Halo 2 is great, but like i said, i'm a single player. The levels weren't great, though the new features did help keep me playing. The storyline was terrible however, and that threw me off greatly. Dual Wielding was the best idea they came up with truly, but the weapons are worse now than before.

I think bungie messed up with halo 2. The weapons are not balanced well enough. Duel wielding (although cool) promotes a 'spray and pray' type of combat, which detracts from the game. Halo 1 required a lot of skill, much more so than halo 2. The xbox live is great for halo 2, but halo 1 multiplayer is still better in my mind. The maps in halo 2 are also way to big, and nothing like the great maps of halo 1.
