Replying to POWDER SUPERPARK= NO GO?!?! PARKASAURUS=Obviously NO GO...WTF???

After briefly skimming Powder Mags excuse as to why they would not be holding Superpark this year, it suddenly hit me. What is it about 'newschool' skiing that creates a lack of interest? For whatever reasons, Freeze is no longer here, Powder gives three or five pages a year, Freeskier is simply Freeskier, and that's it....No SuperPark, no Parkasaurus...Do you hear Snowboarding saying..."Oh, sorry, we can't find a park ANYWHERE to build us some jumps and put up some progressive rails??" No..you don't hear such bullshit...WHY?? I just don't know..

Therefore, do you think newschool skiing will ever gain the support it deserves? I hope so...Perhaps a better question: Are we still in the initial stages of develpoment?? Will new magazines and new corporations, yes corporations, support our industry? If so, who? and when? Don't we need more support, more interest, from the status quo if we are to survive?
