What ever happend to the days when the X-games had those illegitamate sports on it like ice climbing or shovel racing? Or even dare i say it... Snowblading?

My brother was "lucky" enough to compete in several x-games for salamon on Skiblades...we made fun of him....but hell, he still got to go to Telluride, Mt Snow and a few others....triple BIG air on blades....cant laugh to hard though, salamon killed it with gear, matched prize money and tavel budgets...and this was before the 1080 came out...

I think they stopped the shovel racing because it was getting some dangerous. Just look at the wrecks they had on expn, insane.

Not just shovel racing. Super Modified shovel racing. Now that's getting super rad. The first games they had shovel racing and no skiing. pretty funny.

they got rid of shoveling racing b/c there were to many steroids in the sport

x games were alot more fun back in the day, because it was laughable at best...with sports geared toward people eating shit, ect

i remember the first x-games that had the skier cross...i was competing on the swatch tour snowboarding and crossed over to skis...back then it was just a bunch of humps like me who sucked...it was a blast..now you have these freaks of nature from europe that weigh like 400 pounds...no way will i get into a gate with one of those guys...
