I skied all of next year skis and there is nothing that is close to the stlsin terms of versability.
the ski is the best park ski I skied with. they have so much pop and are super stable at high speed and on landings.
They carve really well on any kind of terrain and give you a feeling similar to riding 2-3 inches of powder all the time on decently groomed trails.
Seriously, i couldnt tell you how good those skis are using words.
And they are helding up pretty well. At least me, Jean-Denis and all of our friends out there riding those skis ad way less durability oproblems then they had with other companies.. and believe me I tested a shit load of skis

Stl's were soo sick this year, and next year they're going to be alot better (if they can be). Not to mention they look sick.

dude..... no matter what people say, you'll make another thread next fall. and its mixed feelings. no matter what ski you get, you'll be happy with it. its all personal preference... so buy some skis... and get used to them.... STLs... way soft..... pretty much 90% park. AR5's... pretty good everywhere... but good in park...... Scratches.. park, but will work everywhere.

What the fuck all you do is make stl and ar5 threads. It is getting pretty annoying.

Listen, the STL's are garbage. Trust me. Rediculously soft and skinny, you'll probably break them.
Scratches? You might as well buy last year's. Or the Scratch from 2 years ago. They're the exact same ski. Plus then your money goes into some fat cat Euro's pocket. Everybody wants that right?
You have to go with the AR5. Not only because it's the right thing to do, but because it's far and away the best ski, it also looks the best, and you're supporting a company you can feel good about giving your money to. Support those that support you.

shit talker^...
id say any of those skis are sick. i have spent a whole season on both the stls and the scratches and they are both sick.
and i have rode the ar5's and they are dank to.
you cant go wrong with any ski on that list, and if you read this post you will realize that half of the people that are giving opinions are so biased that you shouldnt even listen (that only includes my first post)

The scratches are not the same as last years...
wider and more stable / stiffer, amazing ski.
though I havent tried the 2006 ar5 I cant tell you how they ride but they certenly look very good.

the scratches are wider this year and they are wider then the ar5 and teh stl so i would go with the scratch if you are going to be sking some powder plus they are sick in the park

STL's for sure. Best park ski out. Anyone who thinks they're garbage obviously doesn't know what a park ski is and would rather have a race ski with a twin-tip.

they will all work very well all over the mountain but i would say go with the 06 ar5's just because they have a hot purple lady on them

the STL and all of this comming 4frnt skis have raised their prices insanly... i mean it could be a really good ski.. .but for what it costs its not worth it at all..
i would say AR5 for versitility... scratches are goos and all but i have seen them to break more than armada... but who knows... they could have changed the way they build them....
i would say go for the cheepest.. DEFFANATLY not the 4frnt...
check for youself how much they cost.. check out procter jones
