YOu can only run 4 events in a hiogh school track meet. I only run 4 at a meet depending on where there is competetion. And all the times are true

im pretty fast... im like the fastest on my lacrosse team and soccer team but i dont do track just because i just feel theres no point to it in sports like lacrosse or soccer or any other team sport theres a point in being fast i really dont understand how you guys can just run and thats like the whole sport

Everyone is like "How can people run for fun" People don't run track cause they like running. Actually, I hate running. You do it for the atmosphere. The friends, the good times, and just the hanging around. I do track cause its fun, not cause runnings fun

^word, just watch out for the girl track beasts who could kick your ass. And people who dont do track really dont understand because they dismiss track as "boring running," but if you have ever been to a really close meet and it comes down to the very last event, the 4x400 relay, there is more excitement in the fans and on the track than in almost any other sport. I would know because I play soccer for my school, and i have been to football games, lax games, and baseball games many times. The sensation you get before a big race to me, is equivilant to only dropping into a huge line skiing or something to that extent. Your adreneline pumps like crazy.

i specialized in high jumping. i had mad hops when i was younger. when i was like 5"6 in grade 9 i was able to grab the rims on the 10 footers. my last time high jumping i cleared 175cm

Hey parkrat, we would have some great competition! I run the 100 in 11.1 and the 200 in 22.5. I don't compete in the 400 but I'm around 52-53 but it's all down hill from there.

I lost all of my endurance when I tore ligaments in my knee a couple years ago. But with weight training I'm back in form for the short sprints

thing about jessbuff is that he's also versatile. we ran cross country together all the time, and did a triathlon or two together as well. and then with minimal training and a sore knee he runs the 100 in just over 11 seconds. dope.

cool that your fast and all...but can you run that fast with a couple pounds of equipment on, sweating your balls off, having someone with a 6 foot pole slap the shit out of your arms, all while looking for an opening and making sure you dont hold onto the ball too long or else you get drilled but being able to tell when the goalie is out of position so you can rip a bounce shot over his shoulder, all while your coach is screaming at you and everyone else on the team is yelling for the ball...thats lacrosse:)

i did track in middleschool wit hthe highschoolers. there weren't many ppl on the team so we ewre all together. i didnt do it in high school cause i lost interest in it. but now it is like a super huge team. we all believe that track is a cult now. one of our teachers got in trouble from some parents cause he said it was a cult.
