Don't bother trying to import from US or Canada cos import tax is almost 50%. Try europe.

We had a pair of Assassin TMX Pros on ebay, for £210. They retail at £339. I don't think a pretty much 40% discount can be labelled extorsion.

Unfortunately, our prices, as with all UK retailers, are never going to be competitive with US and Canadian prices. But I think we are pretty competitive with other shops in the UK, and Europe.

ok maybe extort was a little strong and i fully understand your position. Ive checked your shop site out and yes its one of the best ranges of gear in the uk. The main problem i see is that skiing in this country takes a backseat to snowboarding with regard to progressive attitudes. UK freeskiers to snowboarders ratio is prob ratio of 20:1 and until that changes the uk is always gonna get priced out the market. The trad skiing and snowboard business has more of a base, especially as snowboarding has this urban cool chic surrounding it, which also seems to have redefined boarding from actual riding to talking the talk and owning a board to sit on a slope with.

When I still get asked "why are your skis like that at the back?" after 5 years of riding twintips it sort of tells you the state of progressive skiing in the uk. Keep up the work though guys, your following your dreams and that has to be admired

And as for 50% import tax bollox!, Who are you Uk Customs and Excise deterrent department?

I think you basically pay 17.5% on everything above the allowed limit of £60 if its marked as a gift.
