Setting photoshop work as wallpaper

So how do i take somethign that i did in photoshop and make it my backround? When i browse the photoshop files do not appear.

That's because if you choose to just save a photoshop file in it's original form (.psd) there are very few program that can open the file.
With the graphic open that you want as your wallpaper.. Go to File, then Save AS. Under format, select to save it as either a .gif or .jpg. Preferabbly a .jpg if the picture consists of alot of colors and is a photo.

save it as a .jpeg or .gif (a stadard image file). the go into the control panel>display>desktop and click "browse" then select your file and their you have it. make sure that you are working in the size that you want so its not pixilated on the screen
