Do You Wear your Shoes Indoors?

I'm from Canada and the thought of this is kinda gross because of what you can track in, but I hear Americans wear their shoes inside, and on TV shoes and all that everyone wears them inside.

Do you?

no, i do not, unless i'm in a hurry and need to grab something from inside when i'm headed out and already have the shoes on.

in rez oh yeah. my rooms a pigsty.
but never into my friends room. he has a carpet and hits me when i do. so i bought him a carpet cleaning kit for christmas, and last time he left his door unlocked i went in and jumped up and down on his carpet, just for spite.

Depends. When i'm at my apartment I take them off on the porch since I run a clean place. Depending on which friends house I go to I almost always wear some type of foot protection for my own safety.

NO shoes indoors. It brings in all the garbage from the outside world. Like what if you step in poo, then walk in your house with your shoes on. Now you got Poo everywhere in your house.

the no shoe thing in America seems as if its relativley new, like a trend people have embraced in the last 15 years. It feels so weird now when I walked into someones house with my shoes on.

at my house i'll walk in and not worry about it. if i sit down though, i'll take them off to be comfortable. sometimes i'll take them off anyway if they're muddy or i just feel like it. at friends houses, i always take them off. at school, no.

in the winter always. In the summer im mostly roaming around bare foot anyways so i track in all the dirt, with out the inconvienince of shoes.

At home, nah, usually not. Either socks, or if I've got bad shin splints, I put on my Clifford slippers.
